Using Scent Around Sensitive Pets

Scent preference and tolerance can vary from one pet to another. A fragrance name should never be treated as a medical or behavior promise.

Start with the Label

Confirm that the current package label authorizes the intended species and use. Follow its amount, distance, area, and caution directions exactly.

Give the Pet Space

Use a scented product only when your pet is comfortable being handled. If the pet moves away, sneezes, scratches, or otherwise appears uncomfortable, stop the application.

Avoid the Face and Ingestion

Keep the mist away from the eyes, nose, and mouth. Do not apply more product in an attempt to create a stronger fragrance.

Separate Scent from Treatment

Sassy’s scent names describe fragrance profiles. They are not anxiety, sleep, calming, or aromatherapy treatments. Ask a veterinarian about behavior, skin, respiratory, or other health concerns.

Formula composition, concentrations, species directions, and safety language remain subject to authorized formula and legal review.
